I love this thing! Took it on a camping/hiking trip for 3 days and it packed everything I needed and than some. This thing is big! I bought the one with the two side bags. I was just floored how well it was built. It has all the bells and whistles. I didn’t know when purchasing it, when you open the top flap, it tells you how to signal for help with different things. You’ll see what I’m talking about when you get one. Color is right on too. For the price, you can’t beat it either. This pack could easily be $180 bag and would be well worth it. But that’s just my opinion. I would purchase this bag again and again if I had to. I researched for a couple weeks on all different kinds of bags. Then I stumbled on to this pack on here. Did some research on it and watched some YouTube videos reviews. It was between this one and another. But I decided to get this one because it had more to offer. I’m so glad I did get this one. Hope this helps anyone who is having trouble finding a great pack. Trust me I’m very picky and this is the one.

I’ve had my 65+10L pack now for a little over two years and have never had a zipper or strap to break (including the buckles), no fabric tears or seams to start coming apart. Of course, if I’m not careful, I can get it a little heavy being that the backpack itself is a total of 75 liters and as you can see from my photos I’ve added extra molle pouches and bags, but the ability to distribute the weight in this pack is awesome.I’m a professional wildlife photographer and wildlife guide in Florida and I needed a ruck that would allow me to take equipment I need into places when I couldn’t drive my Jeep Wrangler to. This pack has exceeded my expectations! The Olive Drab green color is spot-on perfect and hasn’t even faded during the last two years of constant use (excessive camping and segmental Florida Trail & AT hiking)I could not have asked for a better ruck for my needs. I don’t hesitate to recommend this pack to any of my clients who comment on it (which is frequently). If you take care of this pack, it will definitely take care of you and last a long time.

I got this backpack for a Survival Pack narrative. Its very spacious that’s for sure. Not a Walmart bag but not a Survival Bag in my opinion. A Survival Bag needs to be durable and strong enough to survive the roughest elements and conditions. The side pouches became very bulky and didn’t feel satisfactory for me. The zippers on the side pouches are not secure, they can and will unzip partly. The carrying Handle on the Top of the pack doesn’t feel secure when fully loaded. I feel like it will rip, and that’s at 30 lbs. After seeing many peoples reviews with stitching issues and ripping issues, and having my own personal dislikes I just didn’t feel comfortable having this back pack as my rugged survival pack.So i went and bought me a $320 Vanquest Markor 45 Backpack and called it a day:)Buy once, cry once.I don’t think its a bad backpack and i think it will work for some people. But not for my uses. Once you start filling it up all the space, weight could be a problem on longevity of the back pack really quick in my opinion.

I read the reviews and I know what the down side is with the upper stitches coming undone. I plan to have it stitched by the Dry Cleaner. I have a sleeping bag that I can roll up tight and it can hold it inside when I have it in storage. It has many compartments and straps to hold external thing. I was impressed with the fabric itself. Stitching is something that can be reinforced but if the fabric is good it can handle extra stitching.I am happy with my purchase.

Highly recommend this pack for any outdoor enthusiast. I am a hunter, go on packing trips, and also just camping in the woods. This pack will meet all of your needs. Had a ton of space, it’s not over complicated with pockets, and has a MOLLE system. I weigh my pack down with between 40 and 50 pounds each outing, stitching is great, zippers are great, shoulder pads and hip pads are awesome as well! This pack has great weight distribution features, straps don’t slip, and sits perfectly on your hips without wearing your shoulders out.My most favorite feature about This pack is that you can strap your gun to it and go! It has a perfect cup for the butt of the gun and two straps a long side the pack that perfectly secures any long rifle(AR in my case) to the side of your pack without any second thought of it falling off. Again, I highly recommend this pack to any hunter looking for one, it has it all as far as my needs go.I can fit a polish Luvue two man poncho TP with poles, wool blanket, sleeping pad(attached to the outside), ENO hammock, camp Pillow, cooking ware, extra clothing, 4000+ calories of food, my camel back water pouch, My gun, camp hatchet, and all my tiny camp items(hygiene products). Like I said, I pack in about 40 to 50 pounds on any given trip. Would not hesitate to buy this bag again!

I just got this backpack for next year PCT hike. I have started to train with it to get my body hike ready and to also make sure this bag holds its true value. So I will continue to update as needed.Sept 20, 2019:Pro: So far so good. Comfort all around, no back pain discomfort. Most of the weight is held on the straps/shoulders and all the padding on the back makes your body forget you are carrying one. I have so far loaded it with a combine total of 77 lbs. There hasn’t been any rips yet. I have also (on purpose) attached a lot of useless items on the out side just to ensure all the strapping and webbing holds. So far so good.Negative: I did have a full 2 Gallon plastic cold water jug on the lower portion of the bag and condensation went thru. Hopefully, during sprinkle weather it doesn’t go thru in reverse. I will be treating my mag with some water repellant sealant.

This is one of those things where I didn’t read reviews or really look at the product description when I bought it. I know, most of us know better than to do that but I was in a hurry (which means I was shopping at work when I wasn’t supposed to)I had no idea how utilitarian this pack was. I bought this as a quick summer bag – so I didn’t have to haul my old hefty Alice pack into short hike and camp trips. allot of pockets, a boat load of options.my only quip is related to some of the plastic buckles in the front. They do feel flimsy, so I am going to replace those asap with better buckles, maybe even opt for fasteners instead. It wouldn’t be, and wont be the last time I’ve had to do that- even on old milsurp LBE’s. I don’t think its worth removing a star over.in summery, I think the value of this pack is fantastic. its comfortable, big, looks and feels reasonably water resistant, and it didn’t break the bank. I will try and come back to update as time goes forward.7/20/19Still using the S*** out of this pack, everything is still good other than some of the color faded and it has a permanent campfire smell.
