[M6539] Mardingtop Small Tactical Backpack with Rain Cover, 25L Molle Hiking Backpack for Backpacking, Cycling and Motorcycle

Bought this for day hikes in the mountains, wanted something small, durable, light, and this pack fit the bill according to the description. Well, I got this pack in my hands and it’s better than expectations.

After trying out so many Smaller Tactical Packs and Slings- I found most of them have a serious flaw-Crappy Zippers with stiffer fabric and square pockets the zippers do not navigate around well.Look at how most have squared not curved pockets! This one is just light and easy with Great feelingShoulder straps and better mesh sweat-less padding for your back.Just so light and easy for one-hand zippering. Was willing to spend more, but couldn’t find anything better under $200. These are $36.00 Great bargain at less than a quarter the price! Admittedly I would have liked more little nook and cranny pockets to put a few more things in, but a substitute plus is these have 2x super sturdy water bottle pockets (1 on each side) that would not hesitate to put even extra cartridges or 50 box of bullets in. The strong elastic and material of these will not let things slip out period. Most tactical packs do not have side water pockets and the add on ones just dont work well. This is just an EZ comfortable small pack that is a step up from sling bags which are usually a little smaller.

I use this as a carry bag for EDC. I had to add a piece of rigid foam to the bottom for stability but other than that, it’s great

I have been using this bike as a hydration and parts storage when I go mountain biking. Fits my 3L camelback bladder, spare bike parts/tubes (for me and my son), and some GoPro extra batteries/memory cards. The only downside is I wish there were more individualized compartments, but I can make what I have work.

I like the color to match my airsoft outfit. I like the size to carry lunch when biking. the padding is adequate. don’t forget to buy your own bladder–I preferred it that way and did it deliberately, but I could see where it might be an oversight.

I’ve been using the backpack for about a week and love that it’s compact. If you need a medium/big backpack, this might not be the one for you. Otherwise, it’s perfect enough to fit a couple of notebooks/textbooks and about two pencil cases (plus the other pockets).For reference, the top pocket very snugly fits a Galaxy S9+ (without the cover that is), and the side pockets fits big water bottles well enough within reason. I put up a PS4 right next to the backpack so you can compare its size. Also, I attached a tourniquet MOLLE pouch and it’s holding on pretty well.My one complaint is that it has far too many straps. The velcro area for the patch is big enough for a flag patch, but not a round patch like the one I attached. Still, the patch is holding on and it barely hangs out. I suppose I could cut the straps, but maybe the manufacturer could reduce some of the straps seen as how this backpack isn’t meant for carrying around a lot of weight. Despite that nitpick, it’s a good, small backpack.
